This guide only lists clubs with a confirmed visitor or resort path from official pages. Private-only clubs stay out. Every fee below is from an official source and must be re-checked before you book.

Base in Kerry (Ballybunion / Tralee / Waterville side) or Clare (Lahinch / Doonbeg side), or split a longer week. One trip can fill a Wishlist of true links stamps without inventing member-guest folklore.

Same cluster habit as Cabot Cape Breton or Bandon Dunes: many Played stamps in one trip, if you book the visitor path that actually exists.

Ballybunion Golf Club

• Prepayment required for all reservations (visitors page).
• 2026 visitor green fees (official): Old Course mid-season (13 to 30 Apr) €400; high season (1 May to 2 Oct) €450; Old + Cashen two-round offer €575 (4 Aug to 2 Oct 2026).
• Cashen closed until 4 Aug 2026 for upgrade (official note).
• Confirm exact visitor days / weekends on the live booking portal before you plan Saturday play.

Lahinch Golf Club

Official green fees page plus the BRS visitor booking portal (re-verify before you travel):

• 2026 green fees (official table, 27 Apr to 16 Oct): Old Course €450; Castle Course €60 (Mon to Sun).
• Book via official BRS visitor portal. Old Course closed to visitors 17 Oct 2026 to 25 Apr 2027 (portal note).
• Walking courses; buggies not available. Visitors on the Old Course must take at least one caddie in the group (club will reserve unless instructed otherwise).
• Full payment at booking; handicap limits and fourball pairing rules on the portal T&Cs.

Tralee Golf Club

• 2026 visitor fees (official): mid-season 1 to 10 Apr €250; high season 13 Apr to 9 Oct €450.
• Visitor tee times listed as Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 8:00am to 3:00pm (fees page).
• Walking course; buggies for medical purposes only. Hire rates for caddies/trolleys listed on the same page.

Waterville Golf Links

• 2026 main season (1 Apr to 31 Oct) green fees (official): Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri €400; Wed/Sat/Sun and bank holidays €425.
